The 1%, in plain terms.
You keep 100% of every invoice. The flat 1% (100 basis points) is added to your customer's total at checkout, not deducted from your payout. Same rate for everyone, at any size. A $1,000 invoice still deposits $1,000 to you. If you never take a payment through Meridian, no fee ever applies.
Stripe's standard card pricing (2.9% + 30¢) is part of that checkout fee, exactly as it would be on Square, Clover, or any processor. The customer covers it along with the 1%, so your payout stays whole.
