We hold customer trust as a core asset. Here's how we earn it: encryption everywhere, database-level tenant isolation, and a compliance roadmap we report on openly.
How we protect your data
Four layers of defense.
Encryption everywhere
- TLS 1.3 for all data in transit
- AES-256 encryption at rest (Postgres + object storage)
- Stripe-vaulted card data; we never touch raw card numbers
Access controls
- Strict per-tenant data isolation, scoped on every query
- Role-based access for owners, admins, operators, and crew
- Passwordless sign-in: passkeys (Face ID / Touch ID / security keys) and email magic links
- Per-account active session management
Infrastructure
- Hosted on Vercel + DigitalOcean infrastructure (US-East primary)
- Postgres hosted by Neon with point-in-time recovery
- Automated, encrypted database backups
Compliance & roadmap
- PCI DSS handled by Stripe; we never touch card numbers
- GDPR & CCPA data requests honored — email privacy@meridiancloud.app
- On our roadmap: database-enforced row-level security, SOC 2 Type II, and self-serve data export
Where we stand
Our principles
Your data is yours
You own all your customer data. Request a full export in standard CSV/JSON formats any time — no "data hostage" tactics.
No data sale, ever
We don't sell, share, or rent customer data to third parties. Full stop. AI inference runs on a zero-retention provider, so your data isn't used to train models.
Tenant isolation, taken seriously
Every query is scoped to your account today, and we're rolling out Postgres row-level security to enforce that isolation at the database layer as a second line of defense.

Found a vulnerability? Please email security@meridiancloud.app with details. We acknowledge within 24 hours and patch critical issues within 7 days. See our responsible disclosure policy.
